Photos of persons dressed as police officers and adult diapers without their pants on went viral and shocked many online citizens on Sunday in the middle of Pope Francis visit in Luneta.
From the most talked about movie adaptation of the best-selling "'Fifty Shades of Grey', here's Jamie Dorman's latest Christian Grey photo.
This is to celebrate the fictional character’s birthday, June 18 (June 19 in Manila).
The photo shows Grey at the wheel, aiming his brooding stare at the viewer. What sort of thoughts could he be thinking in this scene?
"50 Shades of Grey" is about a graduating college student named Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson), who meets the rich, established, and charismatic Christian Grey when she gets to interview him for her school report. Sparks fly, and when Christian eventually pursues Ana, he proposes that they enter into a dominant-submissive kind od relationship. The two other books, 50 Shades Darker and 50 Shades Freed, chronicle the rest of Ana and Christian’s turbulent and eventful relationship.
Completing the set of cats are Luke Grimes (Elliot, Christian’s brother); Rita Ora (Mia, Christian’s sister); Victor Rasuk (José, Anastasia’s friend; Eloise Mumford (Kate, Anastasia’s best friend and roommate); Marcia Gay Harden (Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey, Christian’s mother); Max Martini (Taylor, Christian’s bodyguard); Callum Keith Rennie (Ray, Anastasia’s stepfather); Jennifer Ehle (Carla, Anastasia’s mother); and Dylan Neal (Bob, Carla’s husband) round out the cast.
'Pacific Rim' star Charlie Hunnam had originally been cast as Christian, but he was later replaced by Jamie.
'Fifty Shades of Grey' will open in the Philippines February 2015.
ABS-CBN announced on Twitter earlier this week that the Star Magic talent and Korean celebrity Sandara Park will make a guest appearance on “Pinoy Big Brother," this week.
She will be seen on the show’s afternoon edition, “Uber,” with Robi Domingo, Bianca Gonzales and Joseph Bitangcol and the primetime telecast on Thursday with Toni Gonzaga.
“SHE’S IN! See you this Thursday @krungy21 live na live sa Uber! #uberNOBELA,” a post on “PBB’s” official Twitter account read.
The announcement has created a Twitter party, giving rise to the worldwide trending topic “Si Sandara Park.”
Sandara who is now more known as 'Dara', is back in the country to do a major concert this Saturday with her K-Pop girl group 2NE1. (All or Nothing: 2NE1 Concert)
Park is a runner-up in ABS-CBN’s talent search “Star Circle Quest,” to Hero Angeles and has appeared in some local films before pursuing a showbiz career in Korea.

Then, the girls were back to Kuala Lumpur for their final runway. At the hotel, big reunion happened as they were greeted by the previous eliminated models. Jodilly was so emotional when she met Sneha and Nicole, so did Sheena when she met Josephine. For the final runway, they modeled three designers' collections, namely Ghea Panggabean and Albert Andrada.

This season, Sheena Liam from Malaysia won the second cycle of ASNTM. While, Philippines' Jodilly Pendre and Katarina Rodriguez were the 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively. The decision made by the jusdges drew mixed reactions from fans of the show.
The Top 3 finalists including Filipinas Jodilly Pendre and Katarina Rodriguez will advance on the finale of the second season of Asia’s Next Top Model together with Sheena Liam from Malaysia.
In the previous episode of Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 2, Jodilly Pendre, Katarina Rodriguez, Liam and Nakagawa, were tasked to feature catwalk exercises and a photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.
Jodilly Pendre and Katarina Rodriguez were the first finalists to advance on the finale.
Joddily Pendre (20) has been working as a model for quite a sometime now. She was a graduate of Information System degree at the University of Santo Tomas while Katarina Rodriguez (21) is taking up business management and philosophy courses at the De La Salle University.
In the first season of Asia’s Next Top Model, Stephanie Retuya, a Filipino contestant also marked her name on the prestigious competition after she was able to clinched on the final round. However, she came short to Jessica Amornkuldilok from Thailand.

For me, besides from tuning into pinoy drama series every night, Filipinos also enjoys TV shows that promoting talents moreover to those TV shows that 'features' or 'featured' pinoy talents and pinoy personalities. Do you agree?
To give you a little #Throwback of this, let's recall those Pinoy prides that had drawn filipino viewers attention to internetional shows and reformed Philippine TV experience into something more interesting and fullfilling these past years.
Let's start with 'Glee'!
Charice Pempengco
Charice joined the hit US television series 'Glee' as Sunshine Corazon, the exchange student from the Philippines who presents serious competition against lead character Rachel Berry. This happened after her being dubbed by Oprah Winfrey as "The Most Talented Girl in the World".
Jessica Sanchez
Considered by many as one of the 'Best Fil-Am Idol', this 16 year old (that time) from Season 11 faced Philip Philips in the finale. She attempted to become the first Asian to be crowned American Idol, the youngest AI champion and the girl to break the show’s four-year consistent, all-male winner streak.
Sanchez then made her first ever TV series appearance via 'Glee' in Season 4: All or Nothing episode and appeared briefly in the episode Lights Out as Frida Romero, the lead vocalist of the glee club The Hoosierdaddies, a year after her stint at American Idol.
Fil-Am R&B singer who made it 'almost' in Season 5. Judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul gave him a spot in the second semi-final rounds BUT he was eliminated before the finals.
Zhar Santos or Sharon Galvez
Smokey Mountain singer Zhar Santos appeared in the AI's 4th season. She reached the Hollywood rounds before being cut in the Top 24 selection.
Camile Velasco
From Hawaii, Camile went on to become one of Season 3’s two Fil-Am finalists (with Jasmine Trias) and ended her AI journey in the 9th spot.
Thia Megia
16 year old that time, lauded for her performances but was criticized for always selecting ballads, and was voted off in the 4th elimination round of the finals.
Jasmine Trias
Also from Hawaii, Jasmine placed 3rd in Season 3, the highest place for a Fil-Am before Jessica Sanchez in eleventh season.
After Idol, Trias flew in Philippines and did TV shows, commercials and billboard ads. She even recorded 'Love Ko 'To' promotional single for McDonalds.
Ramiele Malubay
The only Fil-Am that showed the most Pinoy flavor after confessing Regine Velasquez as her favorite performer.
Malaya Watson
And this year, another Fil-Am is now making buzz in the 13th Season of American Idol.
Watson, whose name means free in Filipino, received a standing ovation from the judges after her performance of the song “I Am Changing” from the Broadway play-turned-movie “Dreamgirls” made her safe in Thursday night’s elimination round.
