Kapag nasa Katwiran, Ipaglaban Mo! back in ABS-CBN

Attorney Jose Sison and son Jopet Sison inked a one-year contract on ABS-CBN network to host the return of one of the longest running drama shows in Philippine TV, the legal drama series “Ipaglaban Mo” originally aired over IBC-13 that depicts real life chaotic legal case stories and from from court decisions to inform viewers of their rights and obligations.

“Ipaglaban Mo” was originally aired over IBC-13, on ABS-CBN in 1998 and GMA News TV from November 2012.

With its big hit on television, ABS-CBN, through sister company Star Cinema, decided to produce two movie adaptations from sensational cases. Two movies were produced portraying several cases with prime actors and actresses like Nida Blanca, Ronaldo Valdez, Subas Hererero, Joel Torre, Ricky Davao, Gina Alajar, Chin Chin Gutierrez, Marianne de la Riva, and Marvin Agustin with the direction of well-known film makers like the late Marilou Diaz Abaya, Nick Lizaso, Rolando Quintos, and Carlitos Siguion-Reyna.
