Eric Tai of 'Showtime' now engaged to girlfriend

Its Showtime family congratulates Eric 'Eruption' Tai on the noontime show on Monday as he is now engaged to his non-showbiz girlfriend Rona Samson after he proposed to her at Mayon Volcano in Albay last week.

"Doon sa Mayon Volcano umakyat kami, siyempre Eruption at Mayon Volcano. Pero nag-camping lang kami sa taas then 'yun I popped the question madaling araw na," Tai excitedly shared how the proposal happened.

In his Instagram account, Tai also posted a photo showing Samson's hand wearing the engagement ring with caption: "@rownita said YES!!! #iAmIndeedAVeryLuckyBeast #BeautyAndTheBeast #GoodFriday."
