Megan Young Miss World 2013 Winning Moments

“I promise to be the best Miss World ever,” Megan said after winning Miss World 2013.

Megan Young was crowned Miss World 2013 on Saturday night in Bali, Indonesia, making history as the first-ever Filipino winner of the title.

Top 6 candidates were asked, Why you should be Miss World? And here's what Megan said,

"Selamat Malam Indonesia (Good Evening Indonesia). Miss World with me treasures the core values of humanity and that guides her into understanding people, why they act the way that they do, how they live in their lives and i will use these core values and my understanding not only helping others but to show other people how they can understand others to help others so that as one we can help society."

After being announced as the winner, Megan was asked few words and here's what she said,

"No words! Salamat sa mga kababayan ko, mahal na mahal ko kayo. Thank you so much to everyone for choosing me to be the next Miss World it really means a lot to me and I promise to be the best Miss World ever."
