Another Filipina is making her way to stardom in the United States of America via X-Factor US.
Santiago who performed pop ballad "Wings" by Little Mix sounded like American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez spread her wings in the X-Factor 2013 Auditions.

Kelly Rowland: "First of all I thought it was cute how you like, yes..uhm...yes you know Im really shy (imitating Ellona's gesture before the performance) and then you're like, spread your wings...ooh what in the world? who is this person? And that's what I loved the most because whoever that girl was she came out and she meant business. Wow!"
Simon Cowell: "Ellona. I’ll have to remember this name. Ellona Santiago"
Demi Lovato: "Yeah that's a star name by the way."
Simon Cowell: "You are the girl I think I wanna work with most now in this competition. I love this girl. You are seriously good."
Demi Lovato: "If I were been here in first season, you would have gotten through. And so, fortunately this year were gonna have so much fun together and you're gonna be like Simon you'll never ever gonna forget me, ever and ever again."

“Do you remember me?” the 6-year-old from San Lorenzo, California politely asked Simon. Simon was clearly confused and didn't recall her previous X Factor appearance until Ellona explained she auditioned back in Season 1 in a group category.
InTENsity's "The Clapping Song Footloose" Performance:
Back in Season 1, 14-year-old Ellona auditioned solo but placed in a group named InTENsity with Paula Abdul as their coach, which got booted out of the competition in the Top 12.
Ellona Santiago rocked the audience and wowed the judges resulting in unanimous and resounding "yes" votes from judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and Kelly Rowland. Now one thing is for sure, Ellona is back and ready for second chance with THE X FACTOR as a solo artist!
